We’re delighted to announce Dan Schweitzer‘s well-deserved promotion to Environmental Compliance Operations Manager. As a Professional Geologist with over 20 years of experience, Dan has become an invaluable asset since joining EnviroScience in April 2023.
Specializing in project management and environmental site investigation and characterization, Dan’s expertise encompasses drilling, logging, and sampling of soil, groundwater, air, and sediment. His hands-on approach and technical mastery have significantly contributed to expanding our vibracore (vibrating sediment sampler) service line and strengthening our capabilities in groundwater and soil analysis as well as emergency response services.
Dan is a certified OSHA HAZWOPER Trainer, demonstrating his commitment to safety in hazardous environments. His dedication to continuous improvement is evident through tailored training programs focusing on environmental site investigations and regulatory compliance.
Dan’s passion for environmental stewardship extends beyond his professional role. Serving as the Chairperson of the City of Kent Environmental Sustainability Commission from 2010 to 2013, he utilized his GIS proficiency to assess the impact of unconventional drilling operations.
In addition to his professional pursuits, Dan enjoys diverse hobbies, including designing tube guitar amps, fishing, and observing insects in his pollinator garden.
As Dan assumes the role of Environmental Compliance Operations Manager, we’re confident that his leadership, responsiveness, can-do attitude, and commitment to quality work will drive success in our compliance services. Congratulations to Dan Schweitzer on this achievement!
