Many industrial facilities are required by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) and the state to develop a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) in compliance with their permits under the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) program. This plan aims to identify sources of pollution due to construction or industrial activities that could negatively affect stormwater discharges.
EnviroScience provides SWPPP regulatory support and design services to facilities throughout the country. We represent clients during discussions with state and local governments regarding the development of their SWPPP and any related issues that may arise.
Our stormwater team is experienced in designing bioretention cells/swales, infiltration trenches, rain gardens, and stormwater detention/retention basins. In addition, we have also conducted SWPPP training in many locations around the country.
With over 35 years of experience, our rich understanding of environmental laws and regulations and outstanding reputation with regulatory agencies allows us to intelligently develop compliant, cost-conscious plans to effectively meet our client’s operational needs.
