Wetlands Mitigation & Restoration
Wetland mitigation is a term given to creating or enhancing wetlands to offset impacts to other systems. When wetlands impacts are unavoidable, wetlands mitigation often becomes a necessary part of the permitting process.
EnviroScience provides our clients with a full range of mitigation process options—from recommending an approved mitigation bank to custom-designed, solution-oriented plans to achieve project goals.
Mitigation banks are agency-approved sites where wetland creation and monitoring are handled entirely by a third party. This option can make the mitigation process fast and easy; however, it can be costly and is not universally available.
EnviroScience is familiar with all approved Ohio mitigation banks and will identify the best, most cost-effective facility. If the mitigation bank option is not feasible or a custom-designed wetland is desired, our biologists are skilled and experienced in wetland design, creation, and monitoring.
