Arbor Day is a celebration of trees and environmental stewardship, bringing communities together to appreciate and protect our natural resources. On April 13, 2024, EnviroScience’s Tennessee office proudly participated in the Arbor Day Celebration in Franklin, TN. This event, organized by the City of Franklin Parks Department in collaboration with the Franklin Tree Commission, featured a variety of activities, including tree sapling giveaways, tree climbing, and educational booths designed to foster environmental awareness.
EnviroScience’s participation, led by our employee-driven Corporate Responsibility Committee (CRC), was a reflection of our core mission—to help clients navigate environmental regulations while promoting sustainable practices. Members of our team—Director of Regional Operations and Senior Aquatic Biologist Dave Czayka, Senior Scientist Chuck Howard, Aquatic Biologist & Fisheries Scientist Noah Daun, and Biologist Victoria Porter—engaged with attendees through interactive displays featuring live aquatic organisms, mussel shells, and field equipment. These displays showcased our expertise in aquatic ecosystems and underscored our commitment to helping clients achieve regulatory compliance without compromising project success.
EnviroScience’s involvement in the Arbor Day event exemplified the company’s Core Values in various ways. Respect was demonstrated by engaging with the community to foster environmental stewardship. Client advocacy was shown through our commitment to environmental education, reflecting our dedication to serving the broader community by promoting sustainability. Our high standards of quality work were evident in the detailed displays, and accountability was reflected in our responsibility to educate the public. Teamwork and safety were also integral to the success and enjoyment of the event.
