EnviroScience Senior Scientist Chuck Howard

EnviroScience welcomed Chuck Howard back as a Senior Scientist at our Tennessee regional office in 2022.

Chuck brings 25 years of experience in environmental conservation, compliance, endangered species, and project management. He’s conducted field surveys and impact assessments in aquatic habitats across 19 states of the eastern U.S. for clients in the industrial, energy, transportation, government, public, and private sectors.

During his previous tour with EnviroScience, Chuck worked extensively with federally and state-listed freshwater mussels throughout the U.S. and managed large, complex projects with potential aquatic impacts.

Chuck’s extensive background in permitting coordination and compliance with the Endangered Species Act, Clean Water Act, National Environmental Pollution Act, and other federal and state requirements stems from his roles in consulting and tenure with the Biological Compliance unit at the Tennessee Valley Authority. His valuable insights and pragmatic approach will effectively lead ES clients through environmental compliance processes.
