EnviroScience Proudly Announces Joint Ventures with QRI

EnviroScience proudly announces our Joint Venture (JV) with Quaternary Resource Investigations, LLC (QRI), a woman-owned small business (WOSB) based out of Baton Rouge, LA. This JV allows EnviroScience to gain a larger geographical footprint while enhancing and expanding our remediation, emergency response, and geophysical services. QRI complements and enhances all the biological assessment, surveying, and permitting services EnviroScience currently offers while adding a specialization in construction services.

Established in 1986, QRI has a proven record of success with federal contracts. QRI manages $1 Billion in federal contracts across the south, in the Pacific Northwest, and in the northeast corridor.

EnviroScience and QRI are further joined by EcoTec Associates under another JV this month. EcoTec is a woman-owned, economically disadvantaged business based out of Topeka, KS. EcoTec’s Environmental Consulting strengths include policy and planning, project management and auditing support, and training experts for many agencies, including the Department of Defense.

Why are these Joint Ventures important in the Federal Contracting Market?

Because of these Joint Ventures, EnviroScience can qualify for a wider range of federal contracts. Federal diversity designations are used in government markets to encourage participation from the smaller, local, and historically segregated markets who find it difficult to access the competitive bidding markets. Competitive bidding has been the mainstay for decades, where the federal government uses private workforces to complete public works projects. This process also allows the public sector to ensure fair pricing while creating transparent practices that assure the best value for the public dollar.

Need to hire a highly qualified WOSB for your project diversity quotas? Clients can continue to count on EnviroScience for the top-quality services they expect in environmental resources, compliance, threatened and endangered species surveys, or remediation, now with a broader geographic and service offering, in partnership with QRI. Through these JVs, EnviroScience is now able to compete under the WOSB designation.
