Since joining EnviroScience in April 2023, she has played a critical role in habitat assessments, population monitoring, and threatened and endangered species surveys throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Appalachian regions.

With an Associate of Science in Wildlife Technology from The Pennsylvania State University, Stacy also holds:

  • Qualified Timber Rattlesnake Construction Monitor certification (Pennsylvania)
  • Secondary Venomous Snake Monitor certification (New Jersey)

Her credentials and field experience position her as a leading expert in timber rattlesnake exclusion monitoring, venomous snake relocation, and herpetological construction compliance.

Stacy Foster: Proven Field Expertise in Reptile Conservation

Stacy has contributed to numerous high-impact wildlife and environmental compliance efforts, including:

  • Timber Rattlesnake Surveys & Mitigation – Safely monitoring and relocating hundreds of rattlesnakes in active construction zones, while ensuring compliance with state and federal conservation guidelines.
  • Eastern Massasauga Rattlesnake Population Studies – Conducting visual encounter surveys (VES) and implementing the Adapted-Hunt Drift Fence Technique (AHDriFT) to track population trends of this federally threatened species.
  • Regulatory Compliance for Construction Projects – Serving as an on-site herpetological monitor, Stacy ensures that infrastructure and energy development projects meet environmental permitting requirements and wildlife protection standards.
  • Radio Telemetry Research – Supporting habitat use and migration studies through real-time tracking of venomous snakes to inform long-term conservation strategies.
