Since joining the EnviroScience team in 2018, Sean Kline has emerged as a pivotal figure in our West Virginia regional office. Specializing in the conservation of threatened and endangered species, Sean is renowned for his deep expertise in bat ecology and wetland science.

With a wealth of experience as a bat ecologist, Sean has spent years conducting comprehensive surveys for threatened and endangered bats. He skillfully employs a variety of methods, including mist net and acoustic surveys, radio telemetry, portal surveys, habitat assessments, and mitigation strategies, to ensure precise and actionable results. 

As a seasoned wetland scientist, Sean also excels in wetland and stream delineations, adeptly navigating complex regulatory frameworks to secure essential permits such as 401/404, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers nationwide permits, and pre-construction notifications. His extensive work across the United States, including in states like Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, Missouri, Massachusetts, the Carolinas, Virginia, Kansas, and Indiana, underscores his versatility and national impact in ecological conservation.
