Marty Hilovsky

Martin “Marty” Hilovsky is an environmental scientist with more than 40 years of broad experience in environmental control, monitoring, and regulatory affairs.

Marty has an M.S. in Aquatic Ecology from Kent State University and is the founder of EnviroScience.  He currently works on a part-time basis as a Senior Consulting Scientist for the company, specializing in toxicity reduction studies, lake management, regulatory compliance for NPDES permit holders, and senior technical review of deliverables. His prior experience as an Environmental Scientist for Ohio EPA and a government contractor for NASA gave him broad experience in wastewater treatment, industrial processes, ground and water table remediation, and ecological systems.

Marty is a certified Rescue Diver, and he has served on a variety of non-profit boards. These include Summit Soil & Water Conservation District, the Greater Akron Chamber, and several Kent State University boards. He is a current board member of the Water Management Association of Ohio, and he is currently the President of the Ohio Lake Management Society.
