An integral member of the EnviroScience staff since 2012, Jim Sargiovanni, II, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Conservation Biology from Kent State University. He is a Certified Erosion, Sediment, and Storm Water Inspector (CESSWI) and holds an Inspection and Maintenance Certification for Storm Water Control Measures in the State of Ohio.
As Practice Area Lead of Compliance Services at EnviroScience, Jim oversees the Environmental Stormwater Inspection Group—managing projects and professionals for environmental inspections that follow Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) guidelines for proper management of stormwater during and post-construction. A consummate professional, he ensures that Best Management Practices (BMPs) for land conservation are always employed during all SWPPP environmental inspections.
Prior to joining the EnviroScience team, Jim worked for The Nature Conservancy controlling invasive plants throughout the preserve. In addition to Jim’s extensive experience with invasive control methods and applications, his expertise extends to Ohio flora and tree identification—including planting, care, and maintenance.
