Anna Burghardt has been with EnviroScience, Inc. since March 2025 and serves as an Ecological Restoration Lead. In her role, she oversees and manages a crew of restoration technicians that provides vegetation management services for a multitude of different restoration projects. She is an Ohio Department of Agriculture Certified Commercial Applicator in the categories of 4A – Forest Pest and Commercial CORE, soon to be 5 – Industrial and 3A – Aquatic. Her responsibilities include native and invasive plant identification, native revegetation, data collection, equipment operation, and careful herbicide application. Anna holds a B.S. in Environmental Biology from the University of Dayton. Previously, she served as an intern for Lake Erie Islands Conservancy and Wildlife Center as their AmeriCorps Environmental Land Steward. During her term, in collaboration with the USDA, she led the Islands’ Biological Controlled Release and Recovery of Parasitoid wasps to combat the Emerald Ash Borer infestation.
