EnviroScience Biologist & Logistics Coordinator Krista Tomasello

Krista Tomasello has been with EnviroScience since 2010 and works as an experienced biologist in our Ecological Services practice area. Krista has over 11 years of experience in biological fieldwork, including waterway quality assessments, habitat assessments, ecological emergency response, and endangered species surveys.

Over the years, she has also gained extensive experience in project management and preparing various ecological reports and permit applications for large clients, including those for Ohio EPA NPDES and 404 Nationwide Permits.

In addition to her role as a biologist at EnviroScience, Krista also serves as the Company’s Logistics Coordinator. She maintains the company calendar and assists company operations in staffing and scheduling employees for emergency responses and large-scale projects to ensure employees are being efficiently utilized at all EnviroScience locations.

Krista also manages EnviroScience’s training and certification tracking software to ensure EnviroScience’s employees are staying up to date with training and job-specific certifications to maintain compliance. Her responsibilities as the logistics coordinator also include managing EnviroScience’s fleet software that ensures the company’s 60+ vehicles are properly shared, utilized, and maintained.

Krista is an Ohio EPA Level 3 Qualified Data Collector for Water Quality Assessments.
