This is the third year Team ES against MS will participate in the annual Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Buckeye Breakaway bike event held by the National MS Society. The event is a lengthy 150 mile bike ride from Brunswick High School to Ashland University and back to raise awareness and funds for the fight against MS. Every year, thousands of riders participate in this event. Ashland University is a gracious host this year, providing amenities and various festivities. Some other local businesses like Lefthand Brewing are sponsoring at Ashland. Read more.
The cause means a lot to the team as three of Team ES against MS’s members struggle with MS. Jamie Krejsa, President of EnviroScience, Inc. and team member, fights the disease every day.
“I’ve really taken pride in exercising and eating right as well as a healthy attitude to fight MS…My attitude has been ‘I control my MS,’” Krejsa said.
