EnviroScience CEO Awarded “Business Person of the Year” by Stow-Munroe Falls Chamber of Commerce

This week EnviroScience’s CEO Marty Hilovsky was awarded “Business Person of the Year” by the Stow-Munroe Falls Chamber of Commerce during a breakfast awards ceremony. The Chamber recognized Marty as an excellent example of someone who takes care of his employees and also constantly gives back to the community of Stow.

Marty is a founder of EnviroScience and responsible for the sense of teamwork, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit that defines EnviroScience’s company culture. He is also a huge advocate for local students, especially in the fields of science and engineering. For example, he is responsible for the creation of the Benjamin Foote Lecture Series at Kent State University and helped establish more than $80,000 in scholarship opportunities for local students. In addition, Marty regularly rolls up his sleeves to dig trash out of the Cuyahoga River for the “Semi-Annual Little Cuyahoga River Clean-up”, where volunteers have removed over 60 tons of debris so far.

When he’s not working, you can find Marty enjoying a craft beer with his friends, family, and coworkers.
