A valued EnviroScience employee since 2010, Tim Ator is an environmental scientist for the Emergency Response & Environmental Assessment team.

Initially hired as an environmental inspector, Tim worked to ensure Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) compliance for the construction activities of multiple pipeline projects. Those responsibilities included on-site guidance for minimizing construction impacts of streams, wetlands, and other sensitive areas and providing weekly environmental compliance reports.

In his current role within the Emergency Response and Environmental Assessment group, Tim responds to spills and train derailments. His responsibilities also include water and sediment sampling, vibracore sediment sampling, infield chemistry readings with various instruments, field management of long-term sampling and monitoring activities, and restoration of impacted and sensitive areas.
