Joining the Ecological Restoration team in 2022, Jim Moyer, P.E., is a professional engineer who is licensed in the State of Ohio and specializes in stream restoration, floodplain management, stormwater management, and dam removal.
Based out of Cincinnati, Ohio, Jim provides field data collection and design services as an integral part of the Restoration Services team.
Jim graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a B.S. in Civil Engineering focused on water resources. Since graduating, he worked both regionally and nationally to restore terrestrial and aquatic habitats for local, state, private, and nonprofit clients.
Jim’s direct work experience includes private consulting services and nonprofit project management. His work encompassed all phases of project development, design, and implementation—including grant writing, field data collection, planning study development, permitting, design, grant management, construction administration, invasive vegetation management, and post-construction monitoring.
