Jamie Shelton is the primary contact for marketing and communications initiatives at EnviroScience, Inc. She manages a wide variety of tasks such as content creation, digital marketing, strategic marketing, and internal communications.
Ms. Shelton helps EnviroScience managers procure business opportunities and strengthen client relations through contact management, website management, social media management, search engine optimization, and lead tracking. She also assists with proposal development and updates professional materials such as resumes, marketing sheets, and the company’s statement of qualifications. In addition, Ms. Shelton manages external communications materials such as e-newsletters, press releases and advertisements.
To facilitate internal communications, Ms. Shelton coordinates manager meetings, conference schedules, the QA/QC process for RFPs, and posts news and blog items on the company’s Sharepoint site. She is also a key planner for company events such as industry seminars/workshops and company parties.
Ms. Shelton received her B.A. in Art, Economics, and Business at Muskingum University and an MBA at the University of Akron (UA) with a concentration in Marketing. While at UA she completed an independent study on ecommerce trends. She was also a graduate assistant for Bierce Library, where she explored trends in student learning and created proposals for more effective space utilization. Ms. Shelton has completed a number of internships, including one for Buckingham, Doolittle & Burroughs, LLC and one for the Center for Applied Research in Dementia.
