Drew Pearce has over 11 years of experience in the fields of environmental science, health, and regulatory compliance. In his current position, as an Environmental Scientist in Compliance Services, Mr. Pearce provides technical assistance and compliance consulting for projects involving environmental assessment/inspection, permitting, and auditing. Previously, as an environmental consultant for the USEPA, he worked as a Project Manager on CERCLA/Superfund hazardous waste assessment, cleanup, and emergency response sites in Regions III and V. His work involved hazardous waste and emergency response site assessment/investigation, sampling, documentation, removal/remedial action support, health and safety, and technical plan/report drafting and review. Additionally, Mr. Pearce was involved in Federal-level emergency planning and preparedness for the USEPA, and he served as an instructor for First Responder training classes.
As a well-rounded Environmental Scientist with experience in both the government and private sectors, Mr. Pearce has training and experience in the areas of solid/hazardous waste, wastewater, storm water, environmental assessment, surveying/monitoring, impact analysis, planning, and regulatory compliance. Mr. Pearce has also previously worked as an environmental health sanitarian for the Cuyahoga County Board of Health, in regulatory affairs at corporate headquarters, and as an environmental consultant for Federal clients in support of NEPA environmental planning and impact evaluation contracts for the construction and/or operation of biomedical research facilities.
