Dale Dunford

ADCI Commercial Diver/Biologist


Dale Dunford has acquired specialized biological, military, and commercial dive experience through his education and work at the U.S. Marine Corps and EnviroScience.  Mr. Dunford served four years as an active duty U.S. Marine, including a deployment to Barwana, Iraq, where he received the Purple Heart from taking fire in the line of duty.  Mr. Dunford was brought on as a full-time employee after interning with EnviroScience for a number of years as a field technician and completing his undergraduate degree at Kent State University.  Mr. Dunford has assisted with a wide variety of EnviroScience projects, including endangered species (freshwater mussel surveys), water sampling, emergency response, wetland and stream investigations, and commercial diving and underwater construction.
