Lead GIS Analyst

EnviroScience Lead GIS Analyst Cam TurneyCam Turney, GISP, is the Lead GIS Analyst at EnviroScience, specializing in geospatial analysis, GIS mapping, remote sensing, and data management.

Since joining EnviroScience in March 2022, Cam has provided GIS solutions for wetland delineations, ecological surveys, environmental restoration projects, and regulatory compliance mapping. His expertise includes spatial data visualization, LiDAR modeling, GPS equipment management, and CAD-based site analysis, making him a vital resource for environmental consulting and natural resource management.

Cam holds a Bachelor of Science in Geography/GIS and a Certificate in Environmental Science from the University of Akron. He is also a Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP) certified by the GIS Certification Institute (GISCI)—a credential that reflects his proficiency in GIS technology, environmental mapping, and advanced spatial analytics. With extensive experience in ArcGIS software, drone mapping, and machine learning for geospatial predictions, Cam helps clients make data-driven environmental decisions with precision.

At EnviroScience, Cam supports government agencies, engineering firms, municipalities, and conservation organizations by providing high-resolution GIS maps, habitat assessments, and regulatory permitting support. His work on pipeline and infrastructure planning, protected species mapping, and land-use analysis has contributed to the success of large-scale environmental projects.

Passionate about geospatial technology and environmental conservation, Cam enjoys fishing and exploring the outdoors when he’s not developing innovative GIS applications.

Few environmental firms in the country retain EnviroScience’s degree of scientific know-how, talent, and capability under one roof. The diverse backgrounds of our biologists, environmental engineers, scientists, and divers enable us to provide comprehensive in-house services and an integrated approach to solving environmental challenges—saving clients time, reducing costs, and ensuring high-quality results.

Our client guarantee is to provide “Excellence in Any Environment,” meaning no matter what we do, we will deliver on our Core Values of respect, client advocacy, quality work, accountability, teamwork, and safety.
