Mr. Farber is a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC) and serves as EnviroScience’s Manager of Environmental Inspection. His work includes managing and providing environmental inspection services and Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) compliance for the construction activities of numerous new and replacement utility line projects in OH, PA, and WV. His responsibilities include managing a group of dedicated stormwater professionals who provide on-site guidance for minimizing construction impacts of streams, wetlands, and other sensitive areas and providing weekly progress and environmental compliance reports to Director-level employees and governmental agency personnel. Mr. Farber has performed water quality sampling for water discharge events and contingency plan monitoring during all phases of construction. His knowledge of the guidelines of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources’ Rainwater and Land Development Manual has helped his clients stay compliant with the SWPPP, as well as compliant with regulations set forth by the US Army Corps of Engineers, Ohio EPA, FERC, and OPSB. In addition to these responsibilities, Mr. Farber possesses field biology experience that includes fisheries management, wetland delineations, invasive plant and animal species management, threatened and endangered species surveys, and environmental field auditing.
