As required by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' (Corps) and other state regulatory agencies, projects often require a comprehensive delineation study to accurately depict locations and boundaries of wetlands and other jurisdictional waters. EnviroScience has performed wetland delineations on nearly-pristine to severely disturbed landscapes on properties ranging from one to more than 1,500 acres in size. Our staff is trained in the current methods of wetlands delineation and strictly adheres to the approved methods found in the Corps of Engineers Wetlands Delineation Manual (1987).
EnviroScience delineates wetlands using a survey-grade Global Positioning System (GPS) for fast, accurate digital surveying of wetlands boundaries. Maps can then be produced using AutoCAD or ArcView software. These are available in digital format to ensure compatibility with engineering plans. Our system of field surveying and map development provide a strong planning tool for any project involving land use changes. EnviroScience's report format and field work have proven favorable to regulators as evidenced by numerous reviews and field verifications.
