EnviroScience uses some of the most advanced Global Positioning Systems (GPS) and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) available to analyze, manage, track, and collect spatial data. These spatial data are often critical for bridging the gap between ecological data and engineering requirements. EnviroScience can use information from many different sources such as databases, CAD, aerial imagery, satellite imagery, and DEMs to develop a custom project. Using software developed by ESRI, our GPS receivers allow for advanced data collection, editing, and viewing of attribute information while in the field. Presenting results with this technology promotes better data interpretation and expedites agency review.
Common applications of this technology include:
Natural resource inventories
Watershed analysis and modeling
TMDL and biocriteria studies
Wetland delineations
Aquatic and terrestrial habitat delineations
Threatened and endangered species surveys
Utility corridor studies
Litigation presentations and support
NPDES Phase II Stormwater inventories
