EnviroScience announces its first Canadian MiddFoil project!

EnviroScience and its Canadian partner Biofilia have recently (July, 2005) begun a three year stocking program in Lac Superieur, Quebec. Sponsored by the Municipality of Lac Superieur and the Lac Superieur Association, the program involves stocking approximately 10,000 weevils per year in four locations. In addition to much hard work by Biofilia and the Municipality, the project involved the cooperation of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, Oceans and Environment Canada-Quebec Region, the Quebec Ministry for Parks and the Environment and the Quebec Ministry for Natural Resources and Fauna.
